Recently I have been using The Body Shop Vitamin C Energising Face Mist as my primer and setting spray and honestly girls I can't believe that I've not used this before. This has been the 'Secret Setting Spray' I've been going on about on my Snapchat (ID: Sheulyttp) and said will test and blog so....Taa Daa....
So I was just casually walking into Body Shop getting my usual Vitamin C Cleansing polish and Camomile Oil and as usually Body Shop had 3 for 2 so I was like hhmm what shall I get, I tried the mist but don't know I never even ended up getting it so grabbed something else. Later on I saw it at my sisters house and there was a Dawat and I needed to spray something on my face as it was a bit dull and used that. Oh Em Gee, it was abs lush! I was like what made my makeup stay and look refreshing and I just saw can I keep it to my sister and she said yes.
The texture is like water and feels light and refreshing on the skin, it does leave a bit of a sticky feel to it which is great as the makeup set on even better.
There is a fresh smell of orange which I know some may not like but for me personally it's divine, but the smell does die down after a while so no biggie.
The duration of the product, now whenever I use this on my bare face it doesn't last long like maybe 4-5hrs so I have to keep spraying however whenever I use it to set my makeup and the end of the day I have that same feeling as I did when I first put it on.
This would be great for SUPER dry skin as it's honestly does keep it smooth and soft throughout. I have combination skin so I don't spray too much and I use a clean blender and dampen it so it sets in the skin.
When I use it as a makeup setting spray I literally put my arm out as far as it can go and spray it, if too close it will be too sticky and this will exaggerate on my oily parts.
Do not put in your eyes, it burns like..... Fire. Well for me it did, some may have longer threshold than me... Lol
Likes:
- Functional spray pump
- Pretty Packaging
- Lightweight
- Long lasting
- Great for setting makeup
- Energises the dull face more
- Can be used for different things
Dislikes:
- It not big enough
- Burns the eye
Am I going to use this all the time? Hell yes, this has been my holy grail for the last 6 weeks and I love it. Although I don't want to go through it that fast I limit myself to once a day, due to wudu I won't be able to always do it being out and about so in the morning and thats all.
I don't wear makeup during weekdays unless it's an event.
The Body Shop always has an offer 3 for 2 so if you can just grab this and give it a try and if not you can always gift it to someone who may want it like your sister! Lol. To be honest this has been more effective on me than the Urban Decay Setting Spray which is £23.50 so for me I could potentially buy two of the Mist Sprays (Or 3 as they always have 3 for 2)
Buy it from The Body Shop website: https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-gb/face/moisturisers/vitamin-c-energising-face-mist/p/p000324
Hope this review helped
