Disclaimer: This whole blog itself aren't for those who may cringe when reading anything with grammatical errors. Sadly I suffer from Dysgraphia Dyslexia and there's nothing I can do about it. When I read things, they seem correct to me but really aren't. So best you stop here. Although this is a sponsored blog post, I was in no way obliged to give a "great" review. If I didn't like it I would not post about it. 

Ok so ya'll know I went Bangladesh in November for work. It was to launch JANDS Cosmetics and my Makeup Masterclass. 

I was initially supposed to go for 4 weeks but due to some personal reasons I couldn't so went for 3 instead. Flew with Biman direct to Sylhet. Pretty impressed as there was no delays or problems. That's the thing with flying to Dhaka if any delays it means those who have travelled from Sylhet to Dhaka will have to wait a long time. Plus I hate night drives from Dhaka to Sylhet.

I got A LOT of questions of the trip and how much was it all, what would I recommend, where did I eat etc Now I didn't do much pleasurable stuff  so I am only giving my review on each service I used. 

So 1st week was the personal part and so was the last week. Middle week is what I want to blog about. 

Novair

Price £60 Per Person 

Service: Quick and easy 

A business friend of mine gave us a driver for the 4 days and Alhumdulilah for having such a lovely and trustworthy man. It's scary in Bangladesh not having trustworthy drivers, they can literally kill you/rape you/ kidnap you etc. So I was nervous but Alhumdulilah.

Lakeshore Hotel (My Accomodation + Masterclass Venue) 

Price: £1015 for all three rooms

Service: They were really good and truly hospitable. Although some staff were near enough wanting money for everything they do like picking up my newspaper but I never gave it. Checking-in was fast and so was checking out. I also did my Masterclass here, hired out Shamadhan Hall. It was reasonable, but I do believe they need to be a bit more clear on prices. They didn't allow me to get external microphone or projector so it cost me more than anticipated. They didn't confirm this prior either. 

I hired 3 rooms with breakfast.  

Studio Apartment Suite: For Business Meetings/Products storage etc 

Executive Twin Deluxe: For myself 

Crown Suite: For my parents 

It included breakfast. Their selection of buffet wasn't great. They could add more to the menu.

Thai Emerald (JANDS Cosmetics Launch Party Venue) 

Price: I'd like to keep this personal 

Service: Shaker was amazing prior the event, he replied promptly and informed his staff about the event as he was going to be out of the country then but wanted everything to run smoothly. I hired out the top part where it gets secluded from the rest of the restaurent and the balcony view. 

They usually don't allow outside food, but I literally begged him to allow me to get desserts because I really wanted a dessert table. 

Food was ON POINT. My parents are hard to impress if it's not Bengali food, so for my parents to really like it I was happy. Everyone was happy with the food too!

Baked (Desserts) 

Price: £73

Service: Jaifrin Ahmed the amazing baker, I was so glad I found her on FB seriously. I saw her page through a recommendation and contacted her. She was affordable (Bakers in BD are highly expensive!!) 
Only downfall is we have to collect, she doesn't do drop off service. So wanting the cakes fresh yet being too busy not the day too pick up was so annoying. Had to send my driver who then came late to me as she lived far from Lakeshore. 
I got: 1 Cake 10 Tiramisu 10 Cheesecake 10 Cupcakes 
I did have to provide the clear cups and stuff myself as in BD these aren't available. Also the stands. 
Rest my assistant made which she doesn't trade in.

Mardi Gras (Event Decorator) 

Price: £500 

Service:Afsara has always listened to what I want and delivered more. It's weird getting something done without physically being there but Afsara literally let me unwind and took control of it all. The amount of visits she did to the venues to make sure she has right measurements. Everything at my event was tailor made and that's what made it more sentimental.

Classic Dental + Implant Center 

Price: Gift from my student 

Service: Dr Tanjin was really professional. She cleaned mine and my mothers teeth and it was so good. Highly recommend her and not only because it was a gift as she never once asked me to review she just wanted to gift me something! I will be going back next year for more treatment :)

The Manhattan Fish Market: 

Price: £35 for 3 meals and drink 

Service: Well it was quiet when we went. The food came fast and was so sucluent yum! 

Nando's 

Price: £40 for 3 meals and 2 dessert 

Service: They have one waiter assigned to 4 tables and if his busy well you won't be served that fast. 

We have family in Dhaka so for two meals we ate at their house <3
