Summer Vacation + Business Update

Disclaimer: This whole blog itself aren't for those who may cringe when reading anything with grammatical errors. Sadly I suffer from Dysgraphia Dyslexia and there's nothing I can do about it. When I read things, they seem correct to me but really aren't. So best you stop here.

I know probably none of you noticed due to me still being active on my social media but yes I have been off for 9 weeks with business. I still did get back to emails, calls etc however I didn't attend any events, shoots or meetings HOWEVER there were few business stuff I did (carry on reading!)

Summer '15 is a summer I'll remember for a long time! I did a lot of stuff, including two very close people got married so was busy with that as I was Maid of honour for one and Bridesmaid for the other, and family from abroad came over.

Few things I did that I wanted to share with ya'll so you can try it out too:

-Go Ape; A great activity if you like to jump around and do activities

-Hint Hunt; Get locked in a room and you have to solve the puzzle to get out. If you like mind boggling stuff this is for you

-Hidden Rooms; Similar to hint hunt but a bit more confusing

-Harry Potter Studios; You really appreciate cinematography especially after finding out Hogwarts was just a big house built in the studio...

-Bike Riding; We hired the Boris Bikes for a day and went riding around central London, yes my small feet can pedal around. It's really therapeutic as you breeze yourself through the fresh air, although most of London is polluted Hyde Park has great air!

-Extended Family Awards; A ceremony you plan yourself to connect with all your extended family. It's fun and I know some people don't get along with other families but trust me this is something that can make the bond grow more.

-Eid Hunt; Living in UK and being part of other festive events it's really hard to bring up kids and teach them not to celebrate non-islamic events. So for Eid you make 100% more effort so they don't feel the need to celebrate the other events. Like people do during Easter an Egg Hunt, we did an Eid Hunt asking questions like: What do we pray on? What are Jinns made out of? Etc You can ask anything to be honest, but it's a fun learning activity for the kids

-Secret Eid; If you following me on my social media, you will see every year me and my sisters do Secret Eid as they do Serect Santa during Christmas. It's a great way to challenge your knowledge with your siblings. I am a great sister of course so I bought great gifts for my person ;)

The rest of the stuff were more personal time with my family and extended. Guests house, parties, dawats and more parties!

It was a very special and lovely summer for me which I will not forget! As ya'll know I don't post personal photo's, I have nothing against those who do but I do think that a lot of people flaunt too much of their personal life, also how much of 'happiness' is true will never know so it's best to keep sentimental people/memories to yourself trust me when I say, as much as people love you online, you don't know them well enough to trust them that they are making du'a for you whole heartedly. I'm not saying you all will give me bad nazar but for me a private life is a happy life. Less people know, less your brain questions you.

Congratulations to all those who got married over the Summer! Oh gosh the amount of Weddings I attended alongside with didn't attend. Summer is defo a busy wedding season!

Business (s) Update:

Although I was 'off' I just couldn't help but do few stuff, I was doing more the legal and setting up of these business during the summer which is simple if you know your thangg ;P  Yes ladies I have am a bit all over the place when it comes to "What I do" But look deeply into my profile you will see it's not but purely for the love of Business

I was working on two new business; The Cart + My Rickshawala

My Rickshawala; It's a customised Rickshaw imported straight from Bangladesh (Sylhet if we speak specifically) I am super duper excited about this! I mean what a great traditional touch to your modern event, you don't have to enter on it if you don't want to but having it as a decor will defo keep your guests talking.

Some people have advertised for me and I've seen few comments like "Who the hell would ride that" "How gross is that?" etc. To be honest I know a lot of people won't like this as we all are different in this world so don't forget that. Sometimes your opinion can be rude to other people who would want to hire this. For me personally I couldn't care less those who don't like it, they can diss it as much as they like because for me business is a competition and I am only against myself. I have a lot to prove to myself and I want to be able to get bigger and better. If I cry over stupid girls commenting like "Is she dumb, what does she even do" then I wouldn't have been where I am now and Alhumdulilah for that.

The Cart; It s a pretty white cart that you can hire for your events, and best thing it's versatile! It will go with any event, from corporate to weddings to baby showers! The Cart is under my business however the Service Pro

India Factory: I have personally thanked Pooja, but honestly she has been a gem! She managed all clothes enquiry for these 9 weeks and boy whilst I am looking at emails, Alhumdulilah we got lots of orders for Eid. You don't know how excited I was yesterday when I saw the emails. It really makes me happy to see orders for this business because it's helping families in India grow, workers who we employ grow and feed their family. One even has another side job as a baby taxi driver now as he was able to buy the taxi, he is also teaching his daughter how to stitch so she can carry on his legacy, although I advised him to allow her to do what she wants to do rather than him, but the girl loves cooking, cleaning and sewing! Typical ey ;)

Maahira: This is not really a business for me, it was more a project. You can read more in depth about it on my previous blog but I designed clothes for Maahira London a lushful company that produces pretty dresses.
