Eid Mubarak my lovely supporters! I really do hope you all had a good Eid, and if you didn't I'm sorry in'sha'allah Allah (SWT) gives you double fun and love next Eid. Honestly all I kept doing is thinking about Palestine and Syria, I know it's happening everywhere but this is more than just poverty, it's like a mass killing, it's just cruel! But their more than just soldiers in theses countries, with all going on their praying and celebrating Eid and here in UK we have an argument with someone we say "CBA with Eid" how stupid do we sound! These people are my inspiration and if anyone asked me who's strength do I want? I will reply with the "Strength of my brothers and sisters in Gaza & Syria" Their faith in Allah (SWT) is immense I need that more in my life!
I had a lovely one Allah'hum'dulilah! Every year one of the Eid's we do a game called Secret Eid where 8 of our names are thrown in the air and we have to catch one, who's ever name is on the sheet you catch you must buy them a gift the minimum spend is £20 so nothing below that.
Eid started of with prayers at Palmers Green Mosque; every Eid we go with my father and mother to the mosque and it's lovely hearing the Takbeer's at the mosque.
We then go and have breakfast at my sisters house who lives right next to the mosque, she cooks delciious food so it's always yummy but I get full easily!
We usually com home by 9.30a and then sleep till like 12.30pm, wake up and do Zuhr Namaz. How I plan my time to get start is I look at the gap between each prayer so I know if I should wear make-up now or then. Due to longs days I did my namaz and got ready as I delayed my Asr (Bad though)
Got ready and greeted all siblings, my sister's with their husbands came around and the men ate first whilst we were doing the Secret Eid Game, this year we did it amoungst the nieces and nephews too it was adorable they got so excited, their limit was £2 (teaching them value of money!)
Then we did our exchanging of gifts, as every year I choose to give gifts to all siblings minus my brother! He gets everything all the time!
Then us ladies ate and just had a laugh teasing and taunting each other! It's quite surprising one of didn't have an argument about anything, we fight over silly things like that's my shoe or I need to use the iron now etc
Allah'hum'dulilah it was lovely
My outfit was from Mehanya Couture
So I overestimated my size as I lost nearly a stone this Ramdhaan and it just didn't fit me so it was a disaster.
The service was good however I also ordered a Duppatta with this Kurta and she forgot to send that which was sad hence why I wore this navy one, worked out good but would've been better if I got the original Dupatta
I love my simplicity clothes <3
