Turkey; Sarigerme 2014

Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night,

Where ever you are in the world I just hope your happy and safe! I hope you all have been well since my last blog post, you know what I have an iPhone4 hence why I don’t update often unless I’m at work or I’m working at home via laptop!
If you follow me on my social network websites you will see I have been on a beautiful getaway to Turkey-Sarigerme. Yes it’s an unknown place and not your typical Marmaris etc! I loved this place it was secluded and private! Didn't do any proof reading, this was well delayed blog and just did it at work!

Dates 25th April 2015 From Luton Airport – 3rd May 2014 Gatwick Airport

Flights:

Honestly tips I’ll give you is check few different flights, I always thought going with one airline and coming back with different will be hassle but it wasn’t. We went with Monarch and came back with Thomas Cook. Monarch was crap! It was claustrophobic and ugh that’s it, but flights back was really good had a whole row to myself.
If your booking a holiday look at few prices before, then maybe book one airline there if cheap and one back if cheaper?
TIP: Whenever you book any holiday, before actually paying just clear your cookies and then see the price difference it really works! These websites have third parties keeping a tab of what other website you look at and they put the price up knowing your ‘keen’ to go abroad.

Accommodation:

We stayed at the Royal Links Villa in Sarigerme. It was on top of a hill and well downfall is roads not that safe to drive up especially during the night, once you fall that’s it you fall. So we parked at the bottom and took the stairs (I died at the top all the time!) We got a three bedroom villa, even though they have children equipment like high chair and cot I wouldn’t personally say it’s safe for children. The floor was marble and very sharp corners however if you child/children are well behaved like my nieces then your fine

Car:

Ok I wasn’t aware of this till well I came hear how useful it is to have your own car! I mean really when your middle of nowhere any coast side holidays really having your own vehicle is a must. We were able to travel whenever, didn’t have to wait for the taxi or transport (Not that there is transport there) So thanks Duls for hiring one

#Day 1

We landed there on 25th April at 11.30pm so we couldn’t do anything really except check-in our villa shower and sleep
26th April 2014 we woke up and got ready to check out their village. Sarigerme Village is very small so there wasn’t much there however in comparison to other places this was the cheapest and they were ever so friendly.  We had breakfast at Paradise, I wasn’t impressed as it was just cut-up vegetables onto a plate but later I found that that is their authentic breakfast. We then booked our excursions with a Tour Agent called Basket and Panda. I would recommend use Panda their much more friendly and also they sold us in a calm friendly manner not SALE SALE SALE.
We went home jumped into the pool relaxed for a while then me and my siblings walked it to the village to have a little girly time. We walked it and boy I regret it!
Later that event we went into Dalaman and had dinner at a really nice restaurant which I forgot to take name of!

#Day 2:

We went fishing in Dalyan, I’m not a fishing kinda person but you know no harm in trying. Well I enjoyed the view more and think rest of them gave up on fishing so we ended up doing crabbing and caught 20 crabs! I was with my baby ameerah as she was scared & I love her company she was always surprised in seeing something as we don’t see sea much in London. We attepted to go onto ocean and fish but it was too choppy that it was a risk and I don’t like taking that kind of risk. We saw the circuit of the fresh water and sea water (Like in Nemo where the turtles travel so cool) But it was dangerous to ever swim near it, forbidden area to swim (Two tourists died as they weren’t informed 3 years ago, also just in case you do by accident let’s hope not just don’t panic let the circuit go it will gradually take you to shore) We had a BBQ on the boat and best thing was it was a private boat! YAY. Then ate a place called Chindian which was chinese and indian food.Nothing wow but standard!

#Day 3:

We drove it to Marmaris, yes families can go there not only for single party lovers! I can imagine it at night so buzzing. We had Mac D’s for lunch, I was so excited first ever time! We went to go and play with the dolphins. Subhan’allah such a beautiful creature, I still get stunned on how Allah (SWT) makes these beautiful and intelligent animals. His name was flip & I kissed him
Then we had our horse riding safari to go to, one my 20th Birthday I planned Horse Riding, fun day but we barely got on a horse for no longer than 10minutes. This was lovely we went through the villages on the horse, I kept trying to make my horse gallop but the douche was too scared! It was lovely time!

#Day 4:

We drove it to Fethiye for our Paragliding! Whilst going up the mountain was more scary than gliding! They ahd no barriers but I didn’t look down I just looked at the man dancing whilst sleeping. So basically I had to jump off the hill…. Scary YES was I scared? Nope I closed my eyes when I jumped and as soon as the glider came out I was secure and safe Masha’allah. It was a beautiful view like oh my gosh really spectacular, the gliding was for 40mins which was long for me I got bored after 15mins so much of view you can see and it wasn’t even with someone I know it was with a Pilot who only trained gliding for 1 week… Then he did some tricks and that and wa-la I landed at Olu-Deniz beach!
We then went Fethiye Market and I don’t understand while people brag about such shit places, honestly I felt as though they were more expensive than Sarigerme village not worth it. I bought probably key rings and mirrors
We ate at Burger King (Yum again!)

#Day 5:

We didn’t plan anything for this day, wanted to relax so we had planned to stay indoors enjoy the pool and each other’s company.
In the evening we went a restaurant called Yonus in Ortaca it was absolutely divine! I still can’t get over the tenderness of the meat and the aroma of the chicken! 10/10 no lie! It was private no one here with us so it was lush. We then went to a Turkish bath place to get an oil massage done was really good especially after the excursions it’s exactly what we needed.

#Day 6:

We want on the 12 island boat trip, ok so the view literally made it for me sitting on top deck it was relaxing we stopped at 4 islands to kind get down for a swim in the sea water and snorkelling. My oh my Nasheeha a 5year old girl got in and she kept swimming! Masha’allah she did us proud! We then went back to the villa relaxed and got ready for our evening to a restaurant in the next village Feziye and it was called Sadirvan. Again another place I loved my plate was yummy! My sister got fish but I’m not fond of fish (Yes being Bengali I can’t stand it) The a jet came and said if we wish to ride the sofa basically the jet pulls the sofa which isn’t safe and you may fall into sea! Now that’s my cup of tea. Just letting for those who aren’t aware, in sea water you float so if you ever do fall don’t panic just let your body float.

#Day 7

We were supposed to go Rhodes but due to sea being risky we didn’t want to go. We then decided to go Olu Deniz and it was fun for the kids they really enjoyed it specially Ameerah who was allowed to go in the sea by herself as she doesn’t like people helping her cheeky brat. After that we ate at MAC D’s yes made the most of it and we went Supermarket to do shopping for our evening BBQ.
the villa had a very nice built in concrete BBQ stand so Duls was a man to do all the cooking. Was nice to eat-in as we rarely did that

#Day 8

Our flight was at night so we wanted to make the most of it. Morning we woke up and had breakfast in Sadirvan now they are famous for the breakfast and I know why, all was natural low fat and very filling. Even though they gave vegetables the gave honey different sauces all freshly made with no added stuff.
We headed back home packed our suitcases and then had light brunch. We went to the village to say bye to Panda and be grateful for what they have done for us.
Came home got ready for late lunch at Yonus (My sister was going to cry if we didn’t go there) again lovely weather so was seated outside in a private area and enjoyed our last authentic Turkish food.
Alas we left turkey and returned to gloomy London sadly.
