Disclaimer: This whole blog itself aren't for those who may cringe when reading anything with grammatical errors. Sadly I suffer from Dysgraphia Dyslexia and there's nothing I can do about it. When I read things, they seem correct to me but really aren't. So best you stop here. This is not a sponsored blog post. I was in no way obliged to give a "great" review. If I didn't like it I would not post about it.

Recently I have been craving Korean food, especially watching endless Korean Dramas (My guilty pleasure!) Usually I'll just have Ramen but the drama's I've been watching recently they have been making me go crazy.

Finding a Halal one is hard, but I called endlessly to other places and finally found one that does Halal Chicken only! Now I'd like to mention they don't have a certificate and this is usually because the process and it's expensive, now as long as they have confirmed it's halal it's fine for me. I'm not picky and I respect people who would prefer it as we are all entitled to do things our own way. Rest Allah knows best.

Working in the restaurant industry before and I figured out then that most restaurants do use halal suppliers but due to the lengthy process and expensive fee's so they just don't declare it, like Nando's there are only some certified because they check the location but their supplier is the same hence why the are halal it's just not certified in certain restaurants.

I'd like to state that this is my personal choice, you don't have to eat there if you don't wish to.

So found Super Star Korean BBQ on Google and literally went that day. I couldn't wait any longer. It's actually very busy and was shocked as I couldn't find them on Trip Advisor. Korean people love eating out so it's important for these places to taste home made rather than artificial.

Location:
It's literally 5mins walk (for my little fat thighs!) maybe little less for ya'll tall people, from Tottenham Court Road. You will see it as soon as you walk through the restaurant court yard.

Starters: Korean BBQ (Chicken), Pickled Kimchi, Kimchi and Chilli Squid

Mandoo (Dumplings)

Decor | Wait:
3.5/5Decor is fairly modern nothing really fancy. Waited around 10mins as we didn't reserve and I'd highly recommend you to reserve on Friday-Sunday nights as they do get busy. I'm a snob when it comes to places to eat, I like it to look nice don't ask me why. Doesn't mean I won't eat at random restaurants I would, but when I go on a date night it needs to be nice :) (Didn't take a photo!)

Food:
5/5 I can't explain how yummy it was maybe because I was craving it so badly but it was yummy. The chicken was tender and soft. It was well cooked and the heat of it was perfect. They literally made all of it there and then, it wasn't like it was waiting on the grill or anything
Main Dish: Fried Noodle and Bibimbap (Traditional Korean Main)

Service | Price:
4/5 They were very hospitable and fast. However they had few waiters who couldn't speak English which can be annoying because your asking them to get simple water and they get someone else to ask again. Also the staff were friendly. Price was okay for me personally, I know some don't like to spend more than £30 when going out but I don't mind as long as food is good and to be honest I rarely go out these days (Work is too much!) so it's nice to splurge out properly :)

Dessert: Super Snowball (Red beans, mixed fruits, condensed milk etc) Weird combo

Details:

Name; Super Star BBQ
Number: 020 7836 6577 (Highly recommend to reserve if there is two or more people going)
