Disclaimer: This whole blog itself aren't for those who may cringe when reading anything with grammatical errors. Sadly I suffer from Dysgraphia Dyslexia and there's nothing I can do about it. When I read things, they seem correct to me but really aren't. So best you stop here.

As events invite keep coming in, I get worried if I will not enjoy the event and as I write honest reviews/blogs I'm like shall I go or not? Nevertheless I go because I see it as an opportunity to network and meet lovely and inspirational people.

So got invited to the Saverah Women's Expo, got invited last year when they held a fashion show at GPU but that show was as good as this one.

I did like the show, layout of the fashion show was good, however they seating was a bit poorly, the runway should go right across the floor but it stopped half way with press being in the middle alongside with people behind the press. I was one of them, even though I got front row seats Alhumdulilah but people kept coming in front. So it's good to vision the catwalk as a viewer rather than preference. I spoke to some people and they weren't happy with the service at all, they paid for seated tickets but got put standing up.
Event managers of such organisations need to provide seats for those who pay and supply standing tickets for less payment. It's only fair.

The show itself was lovely! Long but lovely, I think this is one of the longest fashion show I have been to but then maybe because, designers from around the world have come and it will be worth it for them to have few extra pieces.

The layout of the actual event, now I'll be honest, I like the whole idea of it all being under one big roof and then the rooms to be exclusive seminars etc
De Vere was quite like an office suit to Saverah team obviously put 5 stalls in one room and so on. Due to this, we missed some rooms because we weren't aware of them...
Other suppliers were amazing, friendly and lovely.

Whenever I attend the event, I ask people for the feedback and Rumena came with me and she loved it but then this is all new to Rumena so you tend to enjoy it first time, but as she learns more she will be seeing and comparing... But other people even bloggers were not very happy not quite sure exactly why but common statement everyone made was "It's not organised"
To me it was organised, layout can work better and staff but nevertheless it was a lovely event

I'd rate it 7/10 =D

Here are my favorite pieces from the show. Bare in mind I am SUPER picky when it comes to fashion...

I'd like to say Thank You to Vicky from Vickiepatelphotography for giving me these super duper pictures!
