Motives
Cosmetics have been sending me stuff since it first launched as I was one of
the first bloggers to reach out to them before the 'Motives Hype' so since then
they have been sending me their press packs. The first few press packs I lost
and gave to few of my staff to use when going on Make-Up Bookings. But recently
I got sent their brush set and just yesterday 23/2/15 I got sent a box full of
eye shadows, blushers and lipsticks and it has amazed me!
The package was amazing however as an artist and a space saver I will need to depot them into a nice open pallette with magnet or sticky tape. No point having all that when I need to carry it around with me :(
Eye Shadow's: Very Pigmented you will need to tap brush twice
before placing it near the eyes as you will get loads of fall outs
Blusher: Too pigmented, however for any bridal artist it's perfect.
Do tap before you use it though
Lipsticks: Matte, pigmented and very lasting. I wore the
lipstick for about 7 hours and at the end of the last hour lipstick was there
faded but there. Highly recommend you to buy some to test out and you will fall
in love. They have neutral and vibrant colors
Brushes: Not good quality at all, the bristles fall out, doesn't
pick the product up much, or picks it up so much that when you tap the product
off it basically gets all of it off. I was not fond of them at all, only liked
the Spooler and Pencil Brush.
Here is me wearing the make-up. I didn't apply
Mascara as I had heavy eyeliner on and I had too much make-up even
though some will say this is too much (I agree)
Eyes: Twiggy, Boudoir, Love Me and Moody
Cheeks: Intriguing, Cumin and Audacious
Lips: Kissable and Potent (Matte)
Foundation: Nars Barcelona mixed with MAC NC,
Highlighter: Hourglass Ambient Light in Luminous
Eye Liner: Morphe in Slate
Used all of Motives brushes to apply make-up.
Outfit is from my factory in India. Full image can be requested by emailing: thatpa13@gmail.com
