Asiana Bridal Show 2014

Evening Ladies/Gentlemen,

Thank you to some of the men who told me they read my blog I was truly honored that you lot do! As I always right about something girly but apparently my serious post are the most interesting ones! I'll keep that in mind! Excuse sentences or any punctuation missing.

So like every January, Asiana holds a big bridal show at Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel. It's not only a bridal fashion show they also have exhibitions of suppliers advertising their business etc.
This year I got sent tickets not only to the exhibition but to the catwalk too which I'm so grateful for! So thank you Abhi from Asiana :)

Journey:
I love me some wedding inspiration and bridal colors. So I got ready and trained it to the venue, it's quite of a walk from the train station when in heels! But that's my fault I should've changed just before I got inside.

So it was 2.15pm and it was already packed I said to go and get a seat at the fashion show rather than look around now. So there was a queue to go to the lift to go to the fashion show! The show got delayed for 10mins which is pretty good for an South Asian Event.
The show started and I was sadly behind two tall men, I'm so tiny so I pretty much kept squatting to take a photo and even then their head got in the way. So photo's weren't amazing from my camera :(

The show it self was really good! I do love Asiana's Catwalk, they make it fun with the music, allowing models to smile and not just squint and walk up. They had collections from: Frontier Bazaar, Ziggi Studio, Monga's, Kushboo Fashion, Rima Tadmory, RDC London, Frontier Raas etc

My favorite segment was by Aamir Naveed Hair and Ambreen Make-up Artist. I'm so in love with the traditional South Asian Bridal look! I was really inspired by the whole look, so you may see hint of their work in my upcoming location shoots! Second one was Monga's, without a doubt their clothes are to die for. I love their work, the details and the combination of traditional and modern. They had a dance show along with catwalk which I LOVE. I love any catwalk where they actually entertain you. Rest of the designers were good too!

Exhibition: Well honestly it was all the exhibitors that you see in Asiana Magazine. I use to think why the same old same old but being in the industry if these exhibitors are the only exhibitors that can afford the stands then why not?  They must be doing well to be able to exhibit at Asiana right? Well this time I just caught up those who I've been contacting via social network websites so it was good putting faces to profiles :)

Photographs:
Well sorry I actually didn't take much photo's I was enjoying the show! But here are my favorite images from the show. I don't know all designers but if I do information will be there. Aamir Naveed Hair and Ambreen Make-up Artist sponsored Hair & Make-up :)

This segment was soley for Aamir Naveed Hair & Ambreen Make-up Artist. Outfit by Rima Tadmory and Jewels by Anees Malik.

My favorite designed exhibitor was Dil Marthu, his was Punjabi style with a rustic twist. It was too over crowded (Good thing!!) at his stand so couldn't take a photo of it all however this model should give you a good feel of how it was :)

Ambreen's one was very different she actually had her past brides to come in their wedding attire and she re-did their bridal look. This was something so different and good for real brides-to-be it gives a true feeling of the wedding because we can all get perfect looking models etc but what Ambreen did was she thought outside of the box & I love it.

Saw loads of old faces and new ones too!

I got asked about my outfit yesterday but randoms (LOL!) because I'm no Fashionista actually got my stylists (ex-PA) to come and style me as I was completely baffled. So she threw this together:
Dress: Karen Millen
Cape: Baitul Abaya
Bag: Ted Baker
Shoes: New Look
Scarf: Whitechapel Market (I think! Must be right?)
Trousers: Unknown? Select? I don't know!

Me & my lovely new PA :) Photobombed by Nabila :P

Me & Nabila :)

Me & Lucy! Awe love this little bag of adorable'ness =)

That's it! Then I went home got ready into this evening outfit which I thought was quite cool, again styled by my stylist (ex-PA) Same Dress, scarf and trousers! Ok enough of me being a fashionista wannabe (LOOL) Also I look totally bad here =/ I actually look so bloody terrible!

Coat: Zara
Shoes: New Look
Bag: Micheal Kors

Thank you for having me Asiana! Thank you Abhi! Also Thank You for all those that recognized little me and approached me, it's satisfying to know the name of That Personal Photographer is going out there :)
